Update Name in Account Settings

Overview

Your display name in TryBrowzer is the name shown to other organization members and appears alongside your activity, such as eyebrow analysis workflows you run. Updating your display name ensures your profile reflects your preferred identity within the platform. This is a quick, non-destructive change that takes effect immediately upon saving.

Before you begin

  • You must have an active TryBrowzer account and be logged in to trybrowzer.com
  • You must have access to your Account Settings page (typically available to all authenticated users)

Step by step

ClickAccount

Navigate to your account settings by clicking the Account link in the top navigation. This opens the account management page where you can modify your profile information.

Tip. The Account link is typically located in the top right corner or in the main navigation menu. If you do not see it, ensure you are logged in first.

ClickDisplay Name

Click inside the Display Name text field to activate it for editing. This field controls how your name appears to other organization members.

Tip. You may need to clear the existing text first by selecting all (Ctrl+A or Cmd+A) and then typing your new name.

TypeDisplay Name

Type your new display name into the field. Enter the name exactly as you would like it to appear in the system.

Tip. Keep your display name professional and concise (typically 1–100 characters). Avoid special characters that may not display correctly.

ClickSave Changes

Click the Save Changes button to commit your new display name to your account. Your changes will be saved and take effect immediately.

Tip. Wait for a confirmation message or page refresh to confirm the save was successful before navigating away.
Warning. Ensure your new display name is correct before saving, as it will be visible to all other organization members.

Confirm it worked

  1. 1The Account Settings page loads and displays your current display name in the Display Name field
  2. 2After clicking Save Changes, a confirmation message appears (e.g., 'Changes saved successfully') or the page updates without error
  3. 3Your new display name is reflected when you log out and back in, or when viewing your profile in subsequent sessions
